Ziad is the Global Lead for Information Quality + Kids & Family Product Policies at Google, where he focuses on policies related to mis/disinformation, civics and elections, child safety and kids content. From 2015-2020 he chaired the board of Urban Light, a Thai based NGO that helps boys who've been trafficked. Previously, he was an attorney at Davis Polk based in New York and Hong Kong focused on anti-corruption investigations. He was an Emirates Leadership Fellow at the Center for Public Leadership, holds a JD from Osgoode Hall in Toronto and an MPP from the Kennedy School.
