Paul has been in the Trust and Safety space with SIE since 2008 when he observed that the tools being used for content moderation were numerous and inconsistent. Working with members of the content moderation team and other stakeholders, he led the implementation of what has become the company’s standard moderation tool, currently supporting 30+ game titles, and all social content on PS4 and PS5.

He currently manages the T&S engineering team, and is spearheading SIE’s efforts to develop proactive technologies that aim to prevent players from suffering online harms from the outset.
